A special Chipotle Halloween "Boorito" stage could be visited in-game, allowing 30,000 costumed guests to earn a free burrito. This past week, Chipotle announced that it had partnered with Roblox to give away $1 million in free burritos through the game.

The reason why some frustrated Roblox players are blaming Chipotle for today's server outage is quite funny. What makes the situation all the more absurd is that some Roblox players are blaming fast-food chain Chipotle for the issues. The hugely popular online game has been taken offline for unplanned maintenance most of Friday. Yet even Roblox's servers appear to have their breaking point. Suffice to say, Roblox must have astonishingly strong server infrastructure in order to support that many players. Hundreds of millions of people play Roblox every single month. Roblox is one of the most popular games in the world.
